Trade Gothic bold font is a sans serif typeface which was firstly designed in 1948. By way of Jackson Burke in a period of 1908–1975. The main purpose of using this font is very simple and that is its design and professional look. The paint begins to crackle as the glue dries and shrinks. Use contrasting colors for a good effect. A thin layer of glue will make small crackles. A thicker layer of glue will make a bigger crackle pattern. Just wipe it down with a wet sponge to remove surface dirt, and once it's dry, brush on a coat of primer. When the primed piece is dry, use a paintbrush to apply the color you want to show through in the crackle finish, brushing in the direction of the grain. Be sure to dab paint in the cracks. Steps: This will make the surface a little rougher and allow the glue to stick to it more easily. Brush resolvent glue onto the surface with a paintbrush. Try to spread an even coat of glue. To get a random crackle, it's better to brush in multiple directions. Let the glue dry completely, overnight. Homemade Crackle Paint Selecting the Surface. Step 2 – Dab white glue on the votive and allow to dry for about 5 minutes. You want it to form a film on the top but not dry.
